The Entry Island Future Committee is pleased to announce the hiring of Edna Morrison as their Cultural Tourism Development Agent. Ms. Morrison started her duties on May 24 and will be working at the Entry Island Museum for a period of 14 weeks. During her time with the Future Committee, Ms. Morrison will be working in collaboration with the volunteer steering committee in order organize the 2011 Homecoming Cultural Festival. This position has been made possible with funding from Emploi-Quebec.

The first edition of the Entry Island Homecoming Cultural Festival will take place during the week-end of the July 15-17, 2011. A variety of activities for all ages are planned, with the official opening ceremonies beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Friday July 15.
