In 2011, he co-founded Quebec’s first and only chapter of CARP, a national, non-partisan nonprofit championing a new vision for aging in Canada-focusing on financial security, equitable healthcare access, and the elimination of age-based discrimination.

As a former member of CEDEC’s Mature Workers Initiative, Lee has advocated for the ongoing inclusion of mature individuals in leadership and volunteer roles, encouraging them to share their time, expertise, and insights for the betterment of society.
Additionally, he has contributed to the Canadian Volunteer Awards selection committee for several years and currently serves as Secretary on the board of CANLEARNTRUST, nonprofit dedicated to fostering lifelong learning opportunities for Canadians of all ages.
