Peter Stastny

Peter Stastny is a business development specialist with over three decades running, building, and coaching small businesses. As a former business owner, economic development corporation president and rural mayor, Peter has spent his career helping businesses access the markets and funding they need to grow and thrive in anglophone communities across the province.

Peter’s connection to the CEDEC dates back to 2000, when he joined as a volunteer and then the Board. He later spent 7 years working directly with the organization, contributing to the development of strategic partnerships and economic development across multiple sectors and regions.

Peter is a skilled consensus builder who believes in the power of collaboration to drive meaningful change. He has dedicated his career to empowering individuals and communities across the province through innovation and sharing of best practices.

Peter Statsny holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bishops University. He lives in Sutton Quebec with his wife where he raised his two children.
