Leslie (Laszlo) Acs, possesses many years of diverse management and human resources experience creating stimulating work environments and engaging employees in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors for multiple industries. His specialties include mature workers employment counselling, leadership and team building, performance optimization, motivation and engagement, and recruitment and retention.
As Executive Director of La Passerelle, Leslie devotes his efforts to providing tools and support for mature workers’ re-entry into the workforce and creating public awareness of effective recruitment practices, including hiring mature workers.
Leslie has been actively involved in his community, serving on several school governing boards as a member, treasurer and president. As one of the founders of a committee created to preserve the natural forest in the heart of his community, he played an important role in stirring public interest and generating support to obtain a moratorium halting construction.
